I've written a post which details three clean water solutions. Of course the lifestraw, sand filtration, and UV Waterworks. The lifestraw is said to be $5 for a year and sand filtration is said to be $20 (although I don't know how long it lasts)
Any other suggestions for technologies or more info on these technologies????
mmm, it's totally the different approach, but how about this? (or it may be the sama as "sand filteration"?)

It's very interesting to me that this system is based on biotechnologies with bacteria and stones and operated by local community. Easy to handle, easy to manage, and provide waters for 700 people a day.
So community can get this for their own living and they can distribute to the areas.
How do you think? or have you ever heard any rumor about this? Please let me know!
