Base-of-the-Pyramid Strategy to serve Underserved

I gave my business card to Tim Vang and invested the $5 he said he would put in my account. Did you?

If so, why?

If not, Why not?

Bid amount: €50.00

Ilona, It works! A couple of days ago I got this message from MyC4 in reference to my investment with a specific client:
Repayment: €201.20
Repayment - Your share: €4.09
Gains/Losses on Currency Exchange: €-3.92
Gains/Losses on Currency Exchange - Your share: €-0.08
The funds have been transferred to your MyC4 account.

What I am happy about is that I am not a donor; I feel I am a partner with this borrower. But as I am investor, there IS a risk. But I would like everyone to experience the great feeling of partnering or gambling if you prefer. This gamble, even if you lose, is for benefit of entrepreneurs who under such a transparent scheme for sure always will try their very best.

You see among those several human desires, hunger for gambling can serve the poor micro-enterprises!

It has worked for me too! I have received 2 repayments so far for this particular investment (see image, a mesofinance investment for a woman with a soft drink warehouse). I immediately re-invested the money I received, as you can invest even the small amount of 5euro!
